Come to my house

Info: A man I know sent me a message that said come to my house. He didn’t mean his actual house, he meant the tree in the park where we had met on several occasions. Once when I met him there he said in his limited English this is my house. I replied this is our house. We laughed. The opportunity to do this show happened very quickly. Norbert came to my studio a few weeks ago and brought some poets with him named Francis Ponge and TS Eliot. I showed him a group of paintings based on a color from a memory as well as some paintings from drawings I made at my parents and also in Tbilisi. While in Denmark this week I made a drawing with some wild berries. When I scraped the berries off back in Berlin, they said to me as I dusted them into the trash, be generous with your work. Be generous with your work. Come to my house. I will show you my God. – Tony Just
