Up The Blue Hill
RAUCHAleksandr Delev
Info: Aleksandr Delev, located in Berlin, practices a hybrid of design, architecture, and media. Navigating between image and object, he creates an infinite, dream-like environment. His works explore the creative possibilities of various materials, forms, and patterns, intending to create a landscape—a sort of psycho-geography. The exhibition Up the blue hill presents conglomerate of works such as object, maquette and reliefs as parts of a fictional place. The works evoke an orientation within the proposed scene like a psycho-geographical experience which is central to Delev’s work. It suggests that these subjective material articulations are a form of navigating through that mental–scape, creating sense of another environment.
