Joep Braams, Heinke Haberland, Jianan Ning, Anna Sokolova
Info: Joep Braams creates artworks on paper in which nature and human structures converge. Using a minimalist visual language, I play with the relationship between the natural and the man-made. His almost archaeological astronomy enters into dialogue with the art of the remote of Heinke Haberland. Her subjective objects arise from secluded places, from behind the lids. Jump – into imagination and out of illusion. Savour the essence of ennightenment. We do not fail to see because of darkness, but because we are dazzled. Jianan Ning explores the significance of man-made systems through materials, images and spatial situations. Amidst the disappearance of old orders and the chaos that precedes the emergence of something new, I seek to capture an almost ecstatic creative energy. Anna Sokolova shows her personal art museum in the form of a computer game. KINBURN is the form of re-existence of my site-specific installations in a digital world that is created in the image and likeness of the Kinburn Spit. The real Kinburn Spit is a nature reserve, the virtual KINBURN is a reserve of my works.

Klangaktion in der Ausstellung Finstern Stern
Info: Die interdisziplinäre Künstlergruppe wAS? besteht aus einem Kollektiv von 4 Individualisten mit unterschiedlichen Hintergründen und Methoden: Stephen Oldfield aus London ist ein Instrumentenbauer bzw Klang- Skulpteur, Peter Issig aus Düsseldorf ist ein Videograph und elektronischer Musiker, Uwe Moellhusen, visueller+Klangkünstler aus Berlin performt aktionistisch mit Soundobjekten sowie dem deutschen Komponisten und Performancemusiker Thilo Schölpen (experimentelle Musik, Improvisation) gemeinsam verbinden sie Musik, Klangkunst und performative Elemente zu einem innovativen Gesamterlebnis. Ihr Ansatz bewegt sich jenseits klassischer Konzertformate: In elektroakustischen Performances nutzen sie neben traditionellen Instrumenten auch Alltagsobjekte und modulierte Klänge, um Grenzen zwischen Klang, Raum und Aktion aufzuheben.
