Info: SETAREH X is excited to announce the 12th edition of Genius Loci, presenting the work of five young, emerging artists: Rosalie Becher, Sofía Magdits Espinoza, Annabelle Agbo Godeau, Alyce Ford and Jihye Rhii. Genius Loci XII is a yearly exhibition of a group of young artists. 2024 is the 12th installment of this exhibition series and presents a varied selection of artworks, ranging from paintings to drawings, sculptural works and installations. The exhibition combines unique artists that attended the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, coming together to create a varied and multifaceted display of their recent works. Since their graduation from the Kunstakademie between 2022 and 2023 these artists have been increasingly showing their art internationally for renowned institutions. SETAREH X is dedicated to offer a platform to up-and-coming artists and support them in their journey. These artists were selected by a jury consisting of Kathrin Bentele, the director of the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen Düsseldorf, curator Maren Knapp Voith and artist Astrid Styma.
