SALON

Dennis Di Biase, Lunita July-Dorn, Hildegard Elma, Viktor Freso, Julia Gruner, Janis Löhrer, Rune Mields, Luc Palmer, Roxanne Schulz, Nicholas Warburg

Info: Our second SALON opened alongside the solo exhibition by Nicholas Warburg. This dynamic space within the gallery showcases a curated selection of established and emerging positions as well as esteemed guest artists. This SALON invites you to drift between states of wakefulness and slumber, exploring the ephemeral and unseen. From the intimacy of the bed to vast dreamscapes, we explore ideas about rest, the subconscious, realms of night & sleep – where reality dissolves, and the mind takes flight.

SWEAT BABY, SWEAT

Natalie Brehmer

NO MAN STEPS IN THE SAME RIVER TWICE

Courage Hunke

Info: Galerie Judith Andreae is pleased to present NO MAN STEPS IN THE SAME RIVER TWICE, the first European solo exhibition by Accra-based artist Courage Hunke, (b. 2000, Ghana). Known for his layered collages and site-specific installations, Hunke draws on the streets, textures, and memories of Accra to explore transformation, memory, and material culture. Hunke’s works are constructed from sandwiches of found paper and single-use plastic bags, collected from the city’s streets — turning waste into a record of lived experience. Avoiding nostalgia or exoticism, Hunke creates visual diaries that speak to a broader urban reality, while quietly confronting global imbalances in climate impact and cultural visibility. The exhibition features new collages alongside a site-specific installation referencing construction fences in Accra — often used to conceal change, here reimagined as spaces of expression. With this show, Galerie Judith Andreae continues its evolving commitment to a more inclusive and globally connected art discourse.
