Info: Accelerated Depreciation reflects on moments captured on analog film. The work creates contrasts between the long period of time to accumulate memories, captured on film over the course of 13 years, and the depreciation of archives when they are left without dedication. Accelerated Depreciation showcases the impact of memories and the passing of time.

 

From 2020 to 2022 Leon Schniewind was lead graphic designer at documenta fifteen. He has been involved in the initial development of the visual identity and was responsible for its application. In 2023 he is founding his own studio. Location: Pool Board, Lindenstr. 77, 47798 Krefeld.
