Only in Space You May Find Your True Face

Fabrice Samyn

Info: The work of Fabrice Samyn (b. 1981) is polymorphic, richly allusive, and marked by dazzling poetic force. His paintings, drawings, sculptures, writings, and performances give rise to untold resonances and interferences, in a play of metaphors and oxymorons. Fabrice Samyn spurs us to reexamine our relationship to time, to the sacred and to language, as he draws us into an intimate sensorial and spiritual experience. Following his important solo show at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts and Magritte Museum in Brussels, Fabrice Samyn will open his fourth solo show with Sies + Höke in Düsseldorf, titled Only in Space You May Find Your True Face. With a strong focus on new paintings, his future choreographed regenerative gardens will also be introduced. His works have been shown internationally in galleries and museums and are included in various institutions and foundations, such as the Centre Pompidou, Paris; Musée d’Arts de Nantes, Musées Royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique, FLAG Art Foundation, Parker Foundation, and the Koç Collection, among others.
