Info: When devastated by aggression, violence and destruction, where to find confidence? The exhibition Courage. Ukrainian Pictures, that Encourage intends to show just that: photographs of Ukraine – the country, its life, cities, culture and people – as they sadly are hardly known in Germany. Those fond memories that no one can ever take away and which therefore serve as guideposts – for the future after the war, but also for what liberal democratic societies necessarily must stand up for, as peace and freedom, alas, can never be taken for granted.
