Info: For her staged photos, Astrid Busch uses her own photographs as well as images from archives, antiquarian bookshops or the internet. The various materials are arranged in layers, sprayed and illuminated. Her own video recordings can also be projected onto these settings. What is physically present is thus deliberately obscured. The recordings evoke the impression that they are moments from a continuously changing event. Thus each photo is a step in a long chain of work processes.
